Interesting Enhance

Last Saturday, I went bouldering and met a girl I had previously talked to in our group but had never met in person. To my surprise, she lives in the same area, just a one-minute walk from my building. She works in marketing, which is a field I’m interested in restarting. She has been with her company for four years and also has a part-time job. She owns her flat, has a healthy routine, and exercises more than four times a week. She’s around the same age as me, but she’s living what I would consider my ideal life.
Yesterday, I had another interesting encounter. I saw a senior from my school in my building's gym. She recently returned to the UK for a new job after leaving a few months ago, and she seemed surprised to see me. However, she wasn’t willing to tell anyone she was back, and we only had a brief chat since she didn’t seem keen to talk more. I suggested we keep in touch, though I’m not sure she will.
These encounters made me reflect on how interesting life can be. I never expected to meet someone living so close to me or to run into old acquaintances again. I see this as a positive sign for both my career and personal life. Perhaps this is the perfect chance for me to restart applying for marketing jobs, especially now that I have someone who could offer advice.
Meanwhile, I’m slowly progressing with my business. Today, I saw news that Japan’s akiya (abandoned homes) are becoming a trend because they are much cheaper than market prices, with many people purchasing them. I was shocked to see how cheap a 9,000m² plot of land could be, and I’m wondering if that could also be an opportunity.
This Wednesday, I have a meeting with a friend and an accountant to discuss the possibility of inheriting her company. I realise I’ll need a serious business plan as I move forward.
